Dr. Lillie Grant Epps is a Qualified Mental Health Professional for families, Adults and children She has had years of first-hand experience in the field of Mental Health Counseling, including Pastoral Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Epps has seen a lot in her lifetime, and she realizes that compassionate care goes a long way. She understands that it’s not always how much you know but how well you demonstrate how much you care. She is committed to always taking a role in providing solutions rather than contributing to society’s problems – being an integral part of our community - Assisting individuals with Mental Health struggles to become stronger. Strong individuals make Strong Communities.

Dr. Lillie Grant-Epps has been a licensed and ordained Minister since 1999. She is a recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University; Master of Divinity with a concentration in Women’s Ministry, and Doctor of Ministry in Theology from Providence Bible College & Theological Seminary. Dr. Epps is founder and owner of Family & Child Empowerment Services, Inc. (FACES) since 2009. FACES was born out of a desire to provide quality Community-based Mental Health services with dignity and compassionate care. The Goal of FACES is to empower individuals & families, equipping them with tools for a lifetime, promoting success and independence.

Now Dr. Epps aspires to utilize her years of experience in developing a Non-Profit organization, Lillie works. The word Lillie works (Lily-works) is a floral ornament that has a biblical reference to signify that; “The work is complete”. Dr. Epps believes that Lillieworks is her swan-song ministry - completing her work. The overall goal of Lillieworks is to see lives changed and transformed
Over the years … Dr. Lillie Grant Epps…
Serving my community for over 30 years in various capacities:
• Developed and organized an on-site substance abuse program to a low-income housing project including facilitating a 12-step program.
• Developed and provided counseling and assistance to women in those communities including pregnancy counseling and material needs as well as Mental Health Counseling in the areas of Depression, Anxiety, family Counseling, Skill building and domestic trauma.
• Executive Director of a local Pregnancy Center then later promoted to National Organization as Vice President of inner-city, creating Pregnancy Center in over 26 inner cities in North America.

• Organized and facilitated strategic meetings with community leaders in those cities to take on a project to better their communities. In one such case, she held a fundraiser to develop a new community center that included a state-of-the-art Child Care Center as well as the development and implementation of a brand-new Crisis Pregnancy Center.

• Volunteered on many occasions in feeding the homeless, supporting various causes, Haiti, Sickle Cell Anemia, CHKD, Shiners, Doctors without Borders, CHKD, Shriners and St. Jude’s Foundation as well as supporting various children’s programs that provide food and water locally and abroad. Other programs include prevention of human trafficking locally and abroad.
